Position Overview
We are looking for an energetic and outcome-oriented Business Development Officer to lead our expansion efforts. The perfect candidate will spot new build connections with educational organizations, and promote t This position is essential for increasing our market presence and educational change.
MAIN DUTIES
- Market Analysis: Perform comprehensive market research to uncover trends, customer demands, and the competitive environment, guiding strategic choices.
- Lead Generation: Discover and chase new business prospects, such as collaborations with schools, educational bodies, and various stakeholders.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture robust connections with current and prospective clients, guaranteeing elevated satisfaction and involvement.
- Sales Strategy Formulation: Work alongside the leadership team to design and execute successful sales strategies customized for various markets and customer segments.
- Proposal Creation: Develop and deliver persuasive business proposals and presentations to prospective clients and collaborators.
- Performance Monitoring: Evaluate and relay information on sales performance indicators, offering insights and suggestions for enhancement.
- Collaboration Across Functions: Cooperate closely with teams in product development and marketing to ensure business development strategies align product offerings and promotional efforts.
- Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars as a representative Kurasa Africa TLAP to promote our platform and grow our professional connections.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, sales, or a related position, ideally in the EdTech or education field.
- Robust connections within Ghana’s educational landscape (public/private institutions, education authorities, teacher associations).
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Practical experience in digital marketing, brand strategy, and content development.
- Familiarity with social media, search engine optimization, and marketing strategies based on data analysis
- Capability to operate autonomously , achieve sales /engagement goals, and adjust to a changing setting.
